This week marks the 4th week of my life in Ngee Ann Poly, and so far, life here has been great. Besides making new friends with people in my course, I have also made many friends outside my course. The people here are generally friendly, and I haven’t really met and bitchy or mean people yet. My class consist of only 12 people. I think it’s really awesome that we do not have alot of people in the class because if we do, the class would definitely be split into cliques, and we would not be as bonded as we are now.
Poly life have not started being stressful yet. The homework given is pretty alright. In fact, it’s so much lighter as compared to secondary school. However despite having relatively little homework, I am still unable to complete most of them on time and I always end up burning midnight oil doing them (like now is a good example. It’s 2:21am). This is a reflection of my really horrible character. I enjoy procrastination and I lack time management skills. I’m the kind who leaves important stuff to do to the last minute and I’ll do the unimportant stuff first. This is a really bad habit that I have to change as soon as possible in order to keep up with my school work. Time management is a key factor to solving this problem I have.
I hope I’ll be able to get rid of this bad habit!
Time management is the key to solving all problems but then again, I was like that as a student as I am still like that … sometimes. I guess the more we try to change, the more we stay the same …
